My fiancé was worried before we picked up the blood results from the local health care center. They were testing for HIV and overall health.

In the Uber ride back to the hotel we talked about being worried. Some people fear all the time. They’re busy doing just that.

Imagine you’re one of the worrying ones. All-time worrying consumes your thoughts and it spreads like a virus when you share your worries with family and friends.

I’m not saying, "Don't worry." It’s okay to worry but don’t let worrying become your full-time job.

And if you insist of being worried then at least channel your worries into a productive pursuit that people can later define as 'luck.'

As a writer that means:

  1. Write-dump your worries on the page and let them sit there
  2. Write your book (and use your dumps)
  3. Write your sales copy to sell your book to your email list
  4. Write your social media posts to get more people on your list

Who said sh*t can’t be helpful.

Your three owned business assets as a writer are:

  1. Your written books
  2. Your written emails (sales copy)
  3. Your email list

I’m excluding your social media audience from your assets because you never own them.
