that is the sole purpose of meetings

when you stopped scrolling through your newsfeed and then, just a millisecond before you closed the browser, did you see THAT headline that caught your attention BUT you weren’t fast enough, will you open your browser again?

when you cannot get work done effortlessly without a daily sync with the team, then you don’t know how to work remotely (asynchronously)

and when you cannot work asynchronously successfully, then your company is at jeopardy because you lost one of your biggest levers → scale (work ROI detached from time investment)

This morning was a perfect example. I greeted a worker with a cheery, "Good morning," and got a "Mahlzeit!" in return.
