You don’t need tools to write, but they sure make it easier.
For the last three weeks, I’ve gone old-school. Hand-copying ads with pen and paper in a killer copywriting course. Going full retro. (more on that later)
But guess what? Pen and paper are tools too, right?
Let’s agree: tools are lifesavers (and they make you look cool).
Here are my top 3 writing tools right now:
1. DeepL (Write) (free/paid)
DeepL is my translation genie. Highlight some text, hit CMD+C+C, and BAM! Instant translation. DeepL Write is my grammar, word choice, and sentence structure wizard. Bye-bye Grammarly. See ya LanguageTool. So long, Hemingway App.
2. ChatGPT (free/paid)
Need ideas? No one around? ChatGPT is my brainstorming buddy. Perfect for quick back-and-forths. It’s like having a creative partner who never sleeps.
3. Copy Coach by Email Game Changers AI (paid)
This one’s a game-changer and my new obsession! It boosts:
- Clarity and flow
- Sentence length
- Engagement
- Tone and personality
- ...and a ton more!
At $69/month, it’s an investment. But heck, it’s worth every penny!
Using Copy Coach, DeepL Write, and ChatGPT together makes my writing fun and super effective. A perfect blend of tech and brainpower.
Keep writing, keep cool.
And if you’re a Christian… keep an eye out for the Whitsun Dove above your head… tomorrow on Pentecost: from Greek pentēkostē
= "fiftieth" because it occurs 50 days after Easter.
