is hard to answer
when you are in prison
because it challenges you
to look at yourself
while youre looking away from you
as if looking towards the external world
would make you see your internal world
but is that actually true

can the prisoner see his own prison
when looking outside his prison cell
maybe seeing is not believing
maybe feeling is believing
because when you only trust
what youre seeing as a prisoner
then you would not see the cell
you would only see the outside jail
and you would only understand
the we are living a giant
TRUMAN SHOW
in a truman bubble
your attempt to look outside
inherently fails
it has to fail
because your gaze bounces back
from the invisible borders
but physical boundaries
that make up the painted sky
but if you just splashed some water
towards the ether
the illusion would fade away
and thats whats happening
when you get sober again
when you can finally see clearly again
when you see past the fake sky
see past the true man world
see past the illusions
and finally see you
naked
crying
helpless
a litte bored
as good babies are
and looking for direction
and forgetting about the painful truth with the blink of an eye
so that the next time you look out the window
you will see the painted sky again
unaware of your own prison
living in blissful ignorance
