i care about the exciting ideas that an experience gives me while im on the go
because that is what the act of moving does for me pretty much every single time
but only if youre ready to get hurt, as i point out in PLD43 [1]
ive seen a couple of places in the world
met a couple of people from around the world
and i will make many more of these encounters
because they are beautiful, enriching and reinstalling my belief in the world and humanity
but i use traveling more and more as a way to influence my work
because i am on the way to create my Lebenswerk (my life’s work)
while i still can
so i got no time to lose
i have the feeling people act as if they were immortal (maybe they are)
but you will experience some form of decay (even a bryan johnson does)
so i am using life-extending and life-enriching tools like lots of sleep and good conversations with friends and strangers
but i am also diving into life as a whole
so i can tell stories that challenge our pov
and give us that nudge we sometimes need and crave
when life feels like you put it on hold
because you pushed the "pause" button on your remote control
so let life flow
it always wants to
even if it just means that
the life blood inside of you is circulating
because you are properly breathing in clean oxygen
to fuel your mind and your business
oh, one last thing before you go...
i felt safe under the blanket
until i started rubbing it
suddenly i was outside
surrounded by darkness
and flashes of electric charges
but they stopped when i stopped rubbing
i also tried it with her virginia
but the only thing i got was a rainforest
and an amazonian waterfall
its actually fascinating
and i loved doing that as a child...
when you rub your blanket youre moving tiny electric charges around
normally air keeps those charges apart
but if theres enough build-up
the electricity suddenly jumps through the air
and when it jumps, it shakes the air molecules
so much that they glow for a split second
thats the little blue-white flash you see
and the air pops a bit when it heats up fast
thats the tiny crackle you hear
and static electricity at work
its basically mini-lightning in your bed
same idea as a thunderstorm just super small and totally safe
and if youre up for some ec-static and aesthetic enlightenings
while its still available
