do you have a lot of money? i dont 🥊 PLD56

naii.io

and i also wouldnt know what to do with a lot of money

there is nothing material i need

nothing that can be bought that i need

the things i need i can afford (at least in august)

a place to sleep

a place to sit in silence

a place of sun

a place where i can buy food

a place where i can interact with folks and friends

a device through which i can work and get money

some money so i can travel from time to time

so the only three reasons i can think of for having a lot of money are...

1. you wanna have a wife 2. you wanna have kids 3. you wann stop working when retired

i will not have a wife

i will not have kids

and i will work even when i reached the "age of retirement"

because im actually doing something smart (as far as i can tell)

instead of working towards retirement where you can be lazy and vacate a lot

i am lazy already now

i vacate a good bunch now

but i also work pretty much every day

so im concentrating all three - laziness vacation work - into one giant life

instead of arbitrarily separating my working years and my pension years

because i already know

the moment i stop working i will not feel good about myself

so i just wont stop

(and i am aware of needing money for older parents who require medical assistance)

oh, one last thing before you go...

i once traveled to bhutan
the "happiest country in the world"
with no money-centered economy
but a happiness-based model [1] [2]
because economic growth failed to make us happier
as american economist richard easterlin says
so buthanese have gross national happiness (gnh)
as opposed to gross domestic product (gpd)
but when i look at the western world i can only think of one index to measure
gross grosser grossest (ggg)

fun fact, gnh could be a propaganda tool

to distract from bhutans ethnic cleansing

so how about "gross national hypocrisy"?

.
.

i cant help but think

the louder you announce something publicly

the dirtier it is on the inside

which is why the answer could be

"small is beautiful" [3]

so heres my small announcement

that you can still buy your copy of summer smile ☀️
